Preventive Stress Management in Organizations
Published in Hardcover by American Psychological Association (APA) (June, 1997)
Authors: James Campbell Quick, Debra L. Nelson, Joseph J., Jr Hurrell, Jonathan D. Quick M. D., and Debra L. Nelson Ph. D.
Average review score:

An excellent resource!
This book is an excellent resource for both the practitioner and the researcher with an interest in occupational stress. As a stress researcher, I have referred to this book many times and my questions are almost always answered. In addition, it has an unusally extensive reference listing that covers virtually the entire spectrum of academic literature in the field of occupational stress. This book adds real value.

The Proper Care of Rabbits
Published in Hardcover by TFH Publications (April, 1995)
Authors: Darlene Campbell and J. Darlene Campbell
Average review score:

The BEST rabbit book!
The Proper Care of Rabbits is the best book on rabbits that you can get that's not from the ARBA. It shows info on ALL the breeds, the rabbits history, and the BEST info on breeding! I think being a rabbit breeder myself that every breeder should have this book!

Psychiatric Dictionary
Published in Textbook Binding by Oxford University Press (April, 1985)
Authors: Leland Earl Hinsie and Robert J. Campbell
Average review score:

Campbell's Psychiatric Dictionary Makes Sense
As with the prior editions of Campbell's psychiatric dictionary, this version is comprehensive and thorough. While it's useful to clinicians and students in related fields, it can also be used with clients for "official" explanations that are otherwise wordy in textbooks.

The Raincoast Kitchen: Coastal Cuisine With a Dash of History
Published in Paperback by Harbour Pub Co (June, 2003)
Author: Campbell River Museum Society
Average review score:

Superb
The pictures alone were worth the price of the book - such a rich history we have here in B.C., I learnt many things I had not known before. The recipes were also great. Definitely a five star review.

Readings in Planning Theory
Published in Paperback by Blackwell Publishers (July, 1996)
Authors: Scott Campbell and Susan S. Fainstein
Average review score:

A very good selection
This book is a very good beginning for a student interested in urban and regional planning. The selections are great, one example is the classic article from Lindblom "The science of muddling through", with several arguments in favor to 'incrementalism'. Another classic is Davidoff's "Advocacy and pluralism in planning", and the text from Beauregard, Krumholz, Healy and Harvey.

The reading was comprehendable, easy to process,

Reason and Necessity: Essays on Plato's 'Timaeus'
Published in Hardcover by The Classical Press of Wales (January, 2001)
Authors: M. R. Wright, Andrew Barker, Scott Burgess, Gordon Campbell, Christopher Gill, Lesley Dean-Jones, Jan Opsomer, and Sergio Zedda
Average review score:

New series of papers...
This book presents many new essays from several ancient scholars. The papers are well-written and on diverse topics. Although the hardcover is expensive, it is well worth the price, since quality commentaries and new scholarship seems scarce. The article on the Demiurge by Jan Opsomer is top notch and well worth the price of the book. M. R. Wright's paper is excellent as well. Look out Cornford, there's some new kids on the block. Included in the back of the book is a comprehensive list of commentaries and translations of the Timaeus, which is extremely useful.

Relational Parenting: Going Beyond Your Child's Behavior to Meet Their Deepest Needs
Published in Hardcover by Moody Publishers (February, 1900)
Author: Ross Campbell M.D.
Average review score:

Terrific reading for Christian parents.
In Relational Parenting, Dr. Ross Campbell teaches Christian parents how to build relationships with their children by anticipating the child's needs, rather than merely reacting to the child's behavior. Dr. Campbell asserts that the underpinning of a genuinely meaningful relationship with a child is unconditional love. Only this will nurture the child emotionally and spiritually. It is also essential for the Christian parent to understand that discipline is not synonymous with punishment. A parent's consistent expression of love must adapt to the age and developing personality of the child, and consists of meeting their emotional and nurturance needs, giving them loving training and discipline, providing physical and emotional protection, teaching and modeling anger management. Relational Parenting offers a common sense alternative to the traditional behavior modification approach of secular parenting. Relational Parenting is highly recommended reading for all who are anticipating or newly experiencing parenthood.
